Cambodian PM To Visit Lao PDR This Week

Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of Cambodia

Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, will lead a high delegation to pay an official visit to the Lao People’s Democratic Republic (Lao PDR) on Dec. 5-6, 2018.

The visit will be made at the invitation of H.E. Dr. Thongloun Sisoulith, Prime Minister of the Lao PDR, said the Cambodian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in a press release AKP received this afternoon.

According to the same source, during the visit, Samdech Techo Prime Minister will pay separate courtesy calls on H.E. Bounnhang Vorachith, President of Lao PDR, and H.E. Mrs. Pany Yathotou, President of National Assembly of Lao PDR.

The Cambodian Premier will hold official talks with H.E. Dr. Thongloun Sisoulith to explore the possibilities to further strengthen and expand the existing bilateral cooperation for tangible benefits of the peoples of the two countries as well to exchange views on regional and international issues of common concerns and mutual interests.

While staying in Vientiane, Samdech Techo Hun Sen will lay wreath at the Unknown Soldiers Monument.

Samdech Techo Prime Minister will be accompanied by Samdech Pichey Sena Tea Banh, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence, H.E. Prak Sokhonn, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, H.E. Var Kimhong, Senior Minister in charge of Border Affairs, H.E. Sun Chanthol, Senior Minister, Minister of Public Works and Transport, H.E. Suy Sem, Minister of Mines and Energy, H.E. Ang Vong Vathana, Minister of Justice, H.E. Pan Sorasak, Minister of Commerce, H.E. Veng Sakhon, Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, and H.E. Dr. Hang Chuon Naron, Minister of Education, Youth and Sports, as well as several senior governmental officials and business leaders from Cambodia Chamber of Commerce.
