Kin Phea, director of the International Relations Institute at the Royal Academy of Cambodia, said Cambodia’s position is likely to remain the same, vote against Russia’s actions and voice dissatisfaction over the invasion of Ukraine.
Cambodia does not want to see the action of seizing territory from sovereign and independent states through the use of military force, because Cambodia has been through many years of war, he said.
“I also think that Russia clearly understands the difficulties and circumstances that Cambodia is trying to deal with, because Cambodia does not want to oppose Russia,” he said.
